Precision in the manufacturing process is one of the necessary elements for reliability and endurance of the entire sensor package. In order to guarantee a high sensor quality, very tight production tolerances (often well below one µm) have been set-up. To carefully control the entire process Piezocryst manufactures all of its critical sensor parts in house. We have therefore developed our own advanced processes for temperature resistant coatings, clean room mounting, plasma welding and state-of-the-art calibration and testing procedures.
